davidhawley-lowryFacilities Manager – David Hawley-Lowry

I grew up in northern New Jersey as a cradle Episcopalian. I attended Bergen County Technical Schools studying Stationary Engineering. The early part of my working career was in the transportation industry, I ran a parts department for a local line/charter bus company, Then I had seven years with a construction company servicing “the new electronic” gasoline dispensers. While in West Michigan I have worked for a number of churches, Hope Church Holland, St. Mark’s, Tabernacle Community, and Westminster in Grand Rapids, as well as running a small home repair firm.

In 1992 I met my wife Ruth, a minister ordained in the RCA. We were married in August 1993 and Ruth took a call to a church in Chicago, and then Wyoming Michigan; this is how I landed in the Midwest.

We have two children Daniel born in 1996 and Margaret born in 1998. Both children are musically inclined Daniel with piano, and clarinet, and Margaret with piano, violin, hand bells. Daniel is a student at Hope College and Margaret at GVSU Allendale.  email David Hawley-Lowry
