Family Promise
Family promise helps families experiencing homelessness and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response. Working with other churches, St. Andrew’s provides temporary housing, meals, and services to families in the Grand Rapids area.
NEWC
Growing our relationship with God and serving others can be easier when our critical needs are met. The North End Wellness Coalition provides resources to meet those needs. Resources include medical care, mental health support, connecting with others, and ways to live a healthy lifestyle.
NECM
North End Community Ministry is a shared ministry whose mission is to provide practical assistance to those in need on the Northeast side of Grand Rapids.
Supper House
As a part of NECM, Supper House serves over 125 people each week on Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 6:30pm at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church. Along with other churches, St. Andrew’s hosts the meals and provides 8-10 volunteers that assist that evening.
Food Pantry
St. Andrew’s gives to the NECM Food Pantry, which once a month provides clients with a three to four day supply of food and personal care products. The food pantry looks and feels like a grocery store which empowers clients to choose from a variety of foods they need and want for their families.
